Sicily is an untouched destination for me. That's why I cannot participate in suggesting anything related to it here for your sister. But, I would like to say, before going to explore this destination, keep your camera in the travel bag to enjoy the photography in the new place. I haven’t been to Sicily myself, but I have heard it’s amazing. For a first-timer, I would suggest your sister try the local food and things like arancini and cannoli are must-tries. Also, remind her to bring comfy shoes because there’s a lot of walking, especially if she visits places like Taormina or the Valley of the Temples. And sunscreen the sun can be strong there! Hope your Rhode Island trip goes great, can’t wait to hear your stories.
