This is a good city, but did your aunt visit there? So in which destinations did she visit? If you don't mind, can you share her tour itinerary? Anyway, if she has a plan to visit a city like New York City, I think Hoboken is the perfect place to visit, so go there and enjoyed a lot.
That sounds like a fun trip your aunt had last year. For a place similar to New York with plenty to see and do, I would suggest Chicago. It has a vibrant city life, amazing architecture, beautiful lakeside views, and tons of cultural spots like museums and theaters. Plus, Chicago’s food scene is fantastic. It could be a fresh but equally exciting city to explore for their next summer tour.
