It can be very tempting to plaster your video and channel link all over this forum, but this is usually against the rules. This forum is a community, not an advertising platform. Similar to burn-in ads, people don’t like being forced to watch an ad that they didn’t sign up for.
So, do not post your video links everywhere on this forum and that will be considered as spam, this section is specially created to help new content creators and they are welcome to post their video links in here.
However, please read the following simple rules before you start promoting your videos here in this section.
RULES:-
1) Post video links only in this section/ category
2) Do not post video links in other sections/ categories
3) Post your own content only
4) One video link per post
5) Post travel related videos or gadgets related videos which we use during travels.
6) Do not just post the video link, add a good subject to the post and add some description as well in your post then share the video link under the description.
7) Do not post anything that is obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, racist, sexist, discriminatory, and/or otherwise violate any local or international laws. This includes links in your signature, forums, profile, posted images, and/or avatars.
8) No Self Promotion, Product, or Service Advertising. Personal Videos, YouTube Channels, and Social Media promotion is allowed.
9) Do not ask for subscriptions or views on this forum. Only share your videos, if viewers like your videos, they will subscribe to you.
Begging for subscribers is discouraged, and it can hurt your reputation!
It also tends to be counterproductive – if other users on the forum see you as a beggar, they’ll be less likely to look at your channel.
Collaborations & Meetups!
Another way to promote your content is through collaborations. There are a lot of creators just like you on the forum, and many of them keep their eyes on this section. Cross-promotion is an effective strategy in growing your channel. By sharing audiences with each other, you open a floodgate for potential subscribers from the other channels. YouTube loves it when you keep viewers within its platform, and it would be more likely to share these collab videos.
